Cleaning Laminate Floors

Cleaning laminate floors removes dirt and sand particles that could scratch the decorative surface in high traffic areas of your home. Use water and vinegar for cleaning laminate floors. Mix a quarter cup of vinegar with a liter or quart of water. (This works well for cleaning windows as well.) Vinegar is cheap compared to household cleaners.
Use a spray bottle to spray some of the mixture onto a mop. Cleaning laminate floors with vinegar and water will remove most stains without leaving any streaking. It dries quickly.
Rubbing alcohol can be mixed with water as well as liquid detergent with water to make a solution for cleaning laminate floors. An excellent laminate floor cleaner is a mixture of vinegar, water and rubbing alcohol and it dries very fast. Windex also works as a laminate floor cleaner. There are many types of laminate floors, so try some of the above ideas to find what works for you and your floor.

There are some househlod cleaners that will also do a good job on laminate flooring. But research them well before buying.
Do not use soap or wax! They will cause more problems.

How to clean laminate flooring?

Use vinegar and the right mop.

The Swiffer WetJet mop has many people recommending it for cleaning laminate floors. The microfiber pads are recyclable. It is a good idea to spend a little more money to buy a good mop to maintain your laminate flooring.
